Bennett in the Big City

We have moved into our new apartment in Los Angeles! We were pleasantly surprised at how nice our apartment is. The apartment is very safe and secure and we have our own washer and dryer. :)

I think Bennett likes living in the city--although I know he really misses his Nana and Grandpa. This weekend he went to his first Giants baseball game. I thought it might be interesting bringing him, but he enjoyed every minute of it. He is a very portable baby.

As far as milestones go, Bennett's hands are in his mouth constantly. He also has a favorite stuffed elephant that he attempts to put in his mouth as well. It is fun to see learn so much so quickly.

Bennett started making an unusual noise. We are not sure if it is a happy or a sad sound. Maybe he is just experimenting with his voice. I had to stand behind him while taking it so that he would not get camera-shy.

Bennett's Three Month Birthday

Today Bennett is three months old. He now finally fits into his newborn pants! We weighed him today and he is 8 pounds 15.5 ounces--if only he hadn't spit up we would have made 9 pounds.

Bennett has now learned how to put his hands in his mouth and can bat at toys. He smiles all the time and has laughed once.

Bennett is growing both in age and size. His onesies are much more snug and we may need to adjust the car seat a little bit.

As far as milestones go, Bennett is smiling a lot now, especially after he eats. He is becoming a social baby! He is also starting to discover that he has hands and has even attempted to put them in his mouth.

I know we are hopelessly behind on updating the blog, but we have been rather busy. Two weeks ago, Ryan moved our things to LA and I flew across the country with baby to MD to stay with my family. Ryan has training for his job in NY for the next 5 weeks and he visits us on the weekends in MD. After the training is over, we will all move to LA.

Almost three weeks ago, Bennett had a photo shoot. A girl in my ward is building her photography portfolio, and she wanted to take some pictures in Bennett--obviously because he is such a great subject! Here are some of the pictures:
