Halloween and More

Bennett has been looking fatter and older lately--maybe those two things go together somehow. He's getting more and more interactive all the time and continuing to show his personality. In certain moods, he particularly enjoys making noise for the sake of making noise, which proves to be a little bit inconvenient when those certain moods occur during church. But overall it's a lot of fun to watch him learn new things every day. Recent discoveries include the flavor of his feet (he's pretty flexible) and the fact that he has a tongue (lately there have been several unsolicited tongue sightings every day).

And here is Bennett working his magic with the ladies. This is his friend Lucy, who is the daughter of our friends Brian and Emily. They live in our building, and I work with Brian as well.

....and that's how it's done. Bennett does look a little nervous about it, though.

Finally, we were surprised to discover that Bennett the Chicken found it hilarious when Dad cleared his throat. In fact, he thought it was so funny for so long that we caught a bunch of it on camera:

The Many Faces of Bennett

Bennett gnawing on a teething ring. Such a big ring for such a little mouth!

Bennett likes to sit up in various places--the rocking chair, couch, Mom's lap, etc.

Bennett in the Big City

We have moved into our new apartment in Los Angeles! We were pleasantly surprised at how nice our apartment is. The apartment is very safe and secure and we have our own washer and dryer. :)

I think Bennett likes living in the city--although I know he really misses his Nana and Grandpa. This weekend he went to his first Giants baseball game. I thought it might be interesting bringing him, but he enjoyed every minute of it. He is a very portable baby.

As far as milestones go, Bennett's hands are in his mouth constantly. He also has a favorite stuffed elephant that he attempts to put in his mouth as well. It is fun to see learn so much so quickly.

Bennett started making an unusual noise. We are not sure if it is a happy or a sad sound. Maybe he is just experimenting with his voice. I had to stand behind him while taking it so that he would not get camera-shy.
